Morakot Microfinance was founded in 2006, to meet the needs of people in the Kampot region of the Kingdom of Cambodia. World famous for its Kampot pepper, a highly sought-after gourmet food product and a land of hard-working people.
The residents of the region had extremely limited access to financial products and services. Morakot Microfinance has been successfully laying the foundations for poverty alleviation since its inception and has severed over 11,000 people so far.
Morakot Microfinance Myanmar has been operating since 2017 and is proud to be serving customers the heart of The Bago Region.
We are now fully operational in the Bago Region of Myanmar and we are looking forward to bringing affordable Microfinance to our new customers.
We provide accessible finance to our clients with a focus on women’s empowerment to enable sustainable growth of micro and small businesses.
